CHRISTMAS WITH THE CALDWELLS
BRANFORD, CONNECTICUT

Melissa invited us to spend Christmas with her and her family at her house in Connecticut. All that was missing was snow and Bing Crosby as we spent a wonderful Christmas Eve and day. There were 15 of us there for Christmas dinner and what a feast it was!  We had a champagne toast, turkey and beef, and more food than we could eat in one sitting. That morning we did Christmas gifts with Melissa, her daughters Anna and Helen, her Mom, and her cousin Nan. On Christmas Eve we attended a carol/prayer service at the local Congregational Church and came back to a wonderful beef stew dinner. Thank you, Melissa.

Christmas Eve was a time of busy preparation for everyone except the cat (and the photographer.)

This was Christmas morning as Melissa, Anna, Helen, Ginny, and Nan opened gifts.

As is the case with any well-planned and (very) well scheduled dinner, our Christmas dinner was preceded by wonderful hors-d'oeuvres and conversation.

The fabulous dinner. There are a lot of very happy people here. Good job, Melissa!

After dinner was a time to visit, be warm and fuzzy, and clean the kitchen.

Thank you, Melissa, for a wonderful Christmas in many ways.
