DAYTON, OHIO DENNIS AND HIS ROOTS Dennis had more time than he needed to drive from Missouri to Rhode Island so he stopped at Dayton, Ohio for a morning. He lived in Dayton for five years - 1963-1968. Four years were spent as an undergraduate Biology student and one year as the Curator of Biology at the (now gone) Dayton Museum of Natural History. It was his first time back there since 1969 and he had a lot of memories come flooding through the brain. He really wanted to stand in front of his old house on Lawnview and have one of the kids who lives there now come up and talk to him. He could have said "Why, I lived here before you were even born." Maybe it is just as well that no boys came out of the house. The campus of U.D. has grown a great deal and it has been done very well. The campus is simply beautiful.
