KACHINA WETLANDS

Kachina Village is located just South of Flagstaff next to a large and new upscale housing development. The sanitary district that was formed also developed a series of settling ponds for twice-treated water and these have become prime bird habitat. In the Spring and Fall, migrants stop by and a great many species which are hard to find elsewhere in Northern Arizona breed there . In short, it is a delightful place.
