EPCOT

Epcot has a magic and we loved it. This park seems to want to bring you the world. Much of Epcot is the World Showcase where countries of the world have huge exhibits which are almost theme parks within the theme park. We spent most of our time touring these places and sampling food and shopping in foreign lands. We had a huge German dinner, listened to the Beatles, shopped in Morocco, looked at a Viking exhibit in Norway, shopped in Japan, and simply enjoyed our tour. But our biggest excitement came in America as we received a call from Mickey and Minnie wishing us well as newly-weds and then got introduced to an entire cafeteria full of tourists. But in addition to the World Showcase, we rode through a communication history exhibit, walked under a sea of sharks, and shopped. Did I mention that we shopped a little?

That morning in Animal Kingdom he said "Sweetheart, it is so wonderful of you to gracefully spend all this time with me in the aviary." And she smiled sweetly and said "Did I mention that we are going shopping today in Epcot?"  No only is there a just God, but he also has a sense of humor.

The famous symbol of Epcot is the sphere. Inside it is a neat ride that tours the history of communication.
There seems to have been a theme within the park that set Disney characters in a kind of topiery.

The World Showcase:

The American exhibit was set in Independence Hall (of course) and the gentleman in the tri-corned hat kidnapped us and treated to our special time as famous newly-weds. What a great thing to happen!
